| Final Instructions 1 Corinthians 16 5/31/2026 Now about the collection Giving (Romans 15:25–27) (Acts 2:41–47; 4:33–37; 11:27–30) Giving is an act of worship. Giving should be systematic. Giving was personal and individual. Giving is to be proportionate. (2 Corinthians 8–9) Money is to be handled honestly. Opportunities (Ephesians 5:15–16) (James 4:13–15) A Christian must use their common sense, pray, study the situation, and seek the best they can to determine the will of God. People Money and opportunities are meaningless without people. Timothy (v10–11) Apollos (v12) (Acts 18:24–28; 1 Corinthians 1:12; 3:4–8) Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus (v15-18) Five Exhortations Be alert! We should always be alert because the enemy is always at hand, and we are never safe from attack. (1 Peter 5:8) Stand firm in the faith. To stand firm in the faith means to have the stability of a mature saint (Ephesians 4:13-14). Be courageous, Be strong.
