Enriched in Every Way 1 Corinthians 1:5-7 9/28/2025 Truth from the Text: The same grace of God which saves us and which keeps us saved, enriches us in this present life. In Jesus Christ, we have everything that God wants us to have, and everything that we need; though it may not be everything that we want, or think that we need. (2 Peter 1:3; Colossians 2:10) Do I really believe that God has given me everything I need in order to live a godly life? Do I really believe that I am complete in Jesus Christ? All Speech Speaking for God (Acts 7-8) If Paul’s words in verses 5-7 don’t apply to me, what makes me think that verses 1-4 do? (Acts 4:29-31) (Romans 8:9) (2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Peter. 3:15) All Knowledge God provides believers with all the knowledge we need in order to speak effectively for Him. (Philippians 3:8, 10) All Spiritual Gifts V7 A Christian is never lacking in any gift that he/she needs to live a faithful, godly life. Bringing it all Together You and I were born spiritually just like we were born physically, with everything complete and intact. A truth with teeth: When a Christian falls into sin, it is not because they lack anything from the Lord. It is because they are not using what they already have.
